Our Swillburg Neighbors have some interesting free concerts upcoming on  September 23 and 30 at  6:30pm – 8:00pm.

These events are held at Otto Henderberg Square Park which is within walking distance from most of the Highland Park Neighborhood.

September 23  6:30 pm – 8:00 pm:
Violet Mary Mel Muscarella brings the vulnerability and sensitivity of Norah Jones and blends that with the power and grit of Susan Tedeschi and Grace Potter. Backed by a dynamic rhythm section in Tyler Gagnon (bass), Scott Butcher (drums), and Scott Cranfill (accessories) and flanked by Mike Muscarella on guitar, Violet Mary creates a sound that lives easily at Beale Street, Water Street, and Main Street. www.violetmary.com

September 30 at  6:30 pm – 8:00 pm:
Saint Brigid’s Lake An alt-folk quartet based right here in Rochester. With hints of blues, jazz, and moody rock and roll, the band’s repertoire spans generations and genres and incorporates a musical sensibility that is sure to move you, body and soul.
