175th Anniversary New Year’s Eve Celebration and Big Wish
New Year’s Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 will bring a variety of family events downtown at several locations. Early and late-evening (9 to 11 p.m) open-skate sessions at the Manhattan Square Rink with DJ music during which refreshments will be for sale. Meanwhile the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main St. will be home to three hours of family-themed entertainment from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. There is the Big Wish Globe Fire Ceremony shortly before Fireworks at 10 pm.
