Your HPNA Lilac Festival presence is right now located at the Lower Reservoir Gatehouse, across from the Conservatory in Highland Park during the Lilac Festival. We have an exhibit, posters and other merchandise, plus special gifts at various levels when you become a contributing member. This is a good time to meet members of the association and talk about anything on your mind. (And we still need volunteers who are willing to do a three hour shift especially on Thursday and Friday – but also during the Weekend. The Highland Park Neighborhood Association is pleased to announce its latest exhibit, “Blossoms, Business and The City of Flowers” is now on display at the Lower Reservoir Gatehouse in Highland Park until the end of the Lilac Festival.  The exhibit highlights the era when Rochester, New York earned its famous nickname as “The Flower City”.   From the mid 19^th through early 20^th centuries, Rochester was the center of the Plant Nursery and Seed industries and became known around the world when companies such as Ellwanger & Barry’s Mount Hope Nurseries shipped nursery stock to every habitable continent.

May’s monthly walk Pac-Tac walk will be the 19th instead of the 26th this month. The Pac Tac dinner is the 26th . Come walk our neighborhood or if the group wants we can walk the festival.
